Buxom Full On™ Lip Cream Review

Hello my beautiful souls, let me first start off by apologizing for my absence. Sometimes life just gets the best of us, can I get an Amen? This week I decided to go to my local Seohora and check out some brands that I haven't heard much about, and I came across a cute little brand called Buxom. I picked up one lippy to try out and share my honest thoughts to you all, if you want to know about the brand, company, and product keep reading!

• First Impression: So right away my first thought is that I like how simple the packaging is, on the front it has the name of the brand (Buxom), the name of the product (Full On Lip Cream), as well as the weight of the product (4.2 ml/ 0.14 fl. oz). 

When you turn the box it has all of the product claims such as: plumping, glossy pout, shine, and refreshing tingling feeling. I really enjoy the presentation and design of the claims on the packaging, I think it gets the point across in a bold yet simple fashion.

The color I chose is called "Mudslide" which is pretty similar to my natural lip color which I was looking for to wear as a nice glossy nude shade. Opening up the packaging I really like the tube, which is a bit fatter than some other lippies that I own, but I like how naturally it fits in the hand. The applicator is a standard felt hoof applicator, it is decently long. I personally like longer applicators because it helps me get up in the hard spots like the corners of the lips; the applicator itself is very soft and feels nice on the lips.  

The color is exactly as is looks in the packaging, and I really appreciate that, because sometimes a color looks amazing in the tube and not so much on your lips. The smell is not overwhelming which is nice, also it isn't chemically like competitors, instead it has a nice cupcake smell. Overall cute tube, goes well with what the package describes, and I enjoy the packaging.

• The Application: As previously stated I really like the long applicator, it's helping me apply in hard to reach areas with more control. The smell is pleasant, and as it states on the packaging I can feel the nice cool, tingle sensation, which I really enjoy especially in the summer weather. While the tingle is noticeable it is not overwhelming, I would compare it closely to the tingle that you get when you first apply Blistex.

After about 5 minutes after applying the Full On Lip Cream, I can see a difference in the size of my lips, and how plump they look. I really love the feel, finish, and wear of this product so far.

On the right is a picture of my fall face makeup with no Lip Cream, and on the right is my full face with the Lip Cream, I personally love how full it makes my lips look after using the Buxom Full On Lip Cream. It does not feel very sticky once applied for about five minutes, which is a plus in my opinion (no hair in the gloss--YAY). 

Overall I really enjoy this product, I give it 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone looking for nice full lips. The cost is about $20 at Sephora , where you can find a range of colors in the Full On Lip Cream and other products that Buxom has to offer.
