These Easy Tricks Will STOP Your Stress Fast!

Hello again my beautiful souls, today we are going to jump into my favorite stress cracking tips and tricks!


YOGA: I recently started doing yoga after my own stress induced depression last October and it has been a life-saver! I found an amazing YouTube channel called Yoga With Adriene and she just so happens to have a complete beginner playlist! My personal favorite video from her channel is the Quick Stress Fix-5 Minute Sequence, its quick, easy and really helps melt stress away; she has very detailed instructions that are perfect for people who are just beginning to dive into yoga, and as you get better, she gets tougher!

EXERCISE: Light exercise is another great way to reduce your stress levels, and can be easier on your body then hardcore workouts and even yoga; I recommend starting with a walk around your local park or neighborhood, and gradually go faster until you have a steady brisk walk or jog! Remember it's not how fast you go but how much you enjoy the walk or jog; try to keep your posture straight, and remember to reach your your target heart rate ( how many times your heart beats per minute).

MUSIC: Music is a pretty standard stress relief, you can hook up your music player or phone with all of your favorite songs or calming sounds and give yourself 3 songs to unwind before continuing what you were just doing, I like to call it my music break! Another great way to include music into your unwinding routine is to look at kaleidoscopes on YouTube, by the channel HD Colors; this is my personal favorite video to have on my TV during the day or when I need background noise when company is over, it is very relaxing.

LAUGH: Sometimes in life we just need to laugh am I right? Take a night off, call the babysitter, tell your friends your going out tonight; and go to your local comedy club! The comedy club is a great way to get out and destress because it is usually local, and cheap because the comedians are also local; this can also be a great way to get out and meet new people! If you can't go out tonight then go on Netflix.com and watch one of the many comedian shows they have available for streaming.

TAKE A LONG BATH: Baths are the perfect way to melt stress away- literally. Lock the door and turn on your music, light some candles if you're feeling spunky enough; I recommend at least a half hour full body soak!
